Tamara awoke in the hospital to find herself facing a white ceiling. She was confused by this. “You’re awake,” sounded James from beside her. Tamara turned and blinked at him. It was James who saved her. “Thank you,” signed Tamara. James said, “You’re welcome. I never thought someone would lay their hands on you.” James was walking past when he saw someone dragging Tamara away. Seeing how horrible of a state Tamara was in, James went up to help her without hesitation. Tamara lowered her gaze. She did not know who the person was. She also didn’t know who was plotting against her. The only person who came to mind was Yareli. But why would Yareli do that? Tamara was pregnant with the Lynch family’s heir. Yareli couldn’t possibly be plotting against her at a time like this. James saw the suspicion in Tamara’s eyes and decided not to pry further. “You have to stay the night here. The doctor will come round to check up on you tomorrow, and you will be ready to go then.” Tamara nod
