Victoria put her car keys away and walked over to greet Leon's parents. "Hi, Samuel. Hi, Eleanor." "Oh, shut up." Eleanor Thompson sneered. Though she wore an elegant dress, it did nothing to soften her sharpness. Victoria wasn't offended. She'd always know that Eleanor and Samuel Quigley didn't like her.
