It was six o'clock at night and two days since I had walked in on Vicky and Ric. I was now reviewing some documents to look for any mistakes or naiveté. It seemed incredible that I had landed a job as an editor at a publishing house. I was aware that I didn't require the money, but it served as a method to pass the time.
