Catherine raised her hands in mock surrender, her eyes flashing with defiance as she stared into the muzzle of the guard's gun. "Why are you pointing that gun at me?" she demanded, her voice filled with false innocence as she tried to turn the tables on her captors. "I haven't done anything wrong. I'm just trying to help Michael." The guard's eyes narrowed, his expression hard and unforgiving as he glared at Catherine. "We know what you've done," he growled, his voice dripping with contempt. "You're coming with us." "You're mistaken," Catherine replied, her voice smooth and convincing as she took a step forward, her hands still raised in feigned surrender. "I came here for a drink. That's all. I didn't know Michael was here." The guard's grip on the gun tightened, his jaw clenching with frustration as he struggled to maintain his composure.
