"Excellent choice, Lilian," Chief Donovan praised, a sly smile appearing across his old face: "I knew you were really smart and would see things my way." Lilian pretended to smile, showing a fake gratitude towards him. "Now, back to business. You said you gave the location of Melissa and her daughter, right?" Donovan asked. "I have the location of Melissa but not her daughter. I have only been following Melissa to help us find her daughter" Chief Donovan nodded at Lilian's words, his face deep in thought: "Then let's go now! There isn't much time left to waste" Lilian nodded, pretending to agree, but her mind was racing with a different plan. She knew she had to play along with Chief Denovan for now, but she had no intention of actually helping him capture Melissa and her daughter. She'll have to play along with him until she gets the position and then activate her next plan. Instead, for now, she would use this opportunity to gather more information and resources to help her c
