Chapter 24
After Felix settled the issues with the Fullman Group, he took me on a trip.
We went on a carefree trip that lasted for two weeks.
Not long after we returned, the senior executive who didn't get along with Felix came to the Fullman estate. He was accusing Felix of being ruthless and merciless.
Though his children quickly persuaded him to leave, the interaction still left me uneasy.
I could still clearly remember the look of hatred he had given us before he left. "Would he try to retaliate against you?" I asked worriedly.
"Don't worry." Felix gave me a reassuring smile. "I know what I'm doing."
He looked calm. There was not a trace of worry on his face. Seeing this, I felt slightly relieved.
On the anniversary of Mom's death, Felix brought me and my siblings to Camden City to visit her grave.
We stayed there for a couple of days before heading back to Porthaven City.
