Chapter 1111
The rain was cold, but the man’s love gave me warmth.
When I heard what he said, I tightly wrapped my hands around his waist. He hugged me back and gently caressed my head with his palm. It was like he was comforting a child.
I said with a sad tone, “I didn’t even bring my passport.”
“Assistant Yair’s on the way to deliver it,” he said.
I smiled when I heard that. I was content.
“Thank you.”
I was thankful to him. I was grateful that he always comforted me. I was happy that he always found a way to surprise me. I was thankful that he did not see me as a burden. I was grateful that he understood and acknowledged my desires.
“Zachary, won’t I be a burden to you?”
I carefully tugged the corner of his suit jacket. He released me and looked at me. “Never.”
“Alright, I’ll come with you then,” I said.
The man broke into a smile when he heard my words. “If so, thank you, Bel.”
He went along with what I said.
I wrapped my hands around his arms lovingly as he took me into the shed.
