　　Derek’s POV 　　“Alpha Alex, I’ll level with you. I’ve given Baron a large amount of money to develop new poisons. I can’t afford your weapons. And we really need your help. How about this? I know something that you must want to know,” Richard said. 　　Richard mentioned the one who offered him poison! A man called Baron! 　　Who was Baron? He could offer rare poisons for Richard. It seemed that he must be an expert in poisons and he might be a pack leader. But I was sure that I had never heard of the name before. That was weird. 　　“What do you mean?” Alex asked. 　　“I mean, Lucy’s child,” Richard kept his voice low, but I still heard it. 　　I knew there must be a reason for their cooperation, but I didn’t expect that things could be so complicated. If I remembered it right, Lucy was Alex’s sister and she had died a long time ago. I hadn’t finished reading the whole information that Francis had given me. I didn’t know that Lucy had a child before she died. 　　“What?” Alex sounded very surpris
