Chapter 54

　　Derek’s POV 　　I didn’t know what time it was now. When I was sleepy, I closed my eyes and took a rest, but I didn’t allow myself to fall asleep. I forced myself to stay awake. Luckily, Erika was in a steady condition for the rest of the night. She didn’t have nightmares again, nor did she go wild. But I still couldn’t feel her presence through mate bond. I looked at the window and the light shone in through the curtain. I guessed it was four or five o’clock. Finally, the next day dawned. 　　I yawned and decided that I could sleep for an hour.
