The next morning, the first light of the morning crept in through the curtain and painted the room with gold. Taylor blinked herself awake and looked at Alex, who was lying next to her, still unconscious. In the dim light, she saw his softened facial features that had a look of serenity on their faces; she felt such warmth towards him.
She woke up slowly, softly sat up, and leaned on one elbow, just gazing. Every scene that was filmed in the past few days replayed in her mind, and in every scene, there were feelings. She could not help but smile because she was reminiscing about what they had been through and how far they were now.
