Anna POV
I didn’t know why my father was suddenly annoyed towards me. I had done nothing but protest for myself. Why would I give the gown I spent days knitting, to Katherine when she refused to knit for herself.
I cried in pain as I held my burning cheek and I looked up to my father who glared at me.
“How hard is it for a little girl like you to obey instructions? I simply told you to give the dress out to Katherine but you refused. Seems like your Aunt was right about you going for lessons.” My father stared at me with hateful eyes.
“Papa.” I bent my head down with tears rolling down my cheek. “She refused to knit when Mama told her to join us.”
“Did I say you should explain yourself?” My father asked, his eyes sending daggers at me. “You are going to tell me where you would wear the gown to as you are proving stubborn. No party for you.”
My father stepped forward but my mother pushed me behind her. “Honey you need to calm down. She’s just a child.”
