“Mark is a responsible man. Taking me for dinner and dessert was not with any bad intention,” she still tried to convince him but Steve seemed to have changed the story.
Steve held her hand and examined the injury. He wanted to help her apply an ointment and make her heal faster but on second thought, he felt a deserving rest would do.
“You should do what the doctor says. Rest as much as you can,” he said.
Though the arm had improved, it still felt painful whenever someone touched it. It was a very sensitive spot and she tried as much as she could to hide it whenever someone tried to reach out including Steve.
“Does it hurt very much?” He asked.
“Yes, but I am sure within a few days, it will have healed and I will be back to my normal self,” she said.
Anna was quick to notice that he was calmer. It's amazing how he would change from a violent person to a sweet caring person.
