Ethan's voice was hard to miss, reaching both Vivian's and Christopher's ears. Christopher, sensing the situation, stayed quiet, signaling for Vivian to answer the phone, and then turned his back to give her some privacy. Vivian quickly yanked her phone from her pocket and put it to her ear. "Hey, Ethan. I'm okay... Yes, it's Captain Davis, the dude I've told you about. I need to talk to him about something urgent, so I'll catch you later." She didn't even wait for Ethan's response. She just hung up. It's not that she was in a rush to end the call, but her phone was conveniently low on battery and about to die. "Captain Davis, I'm ready," she said, pocketing her phone and calling out to Christopher. Christopher turned back, casually handing her the wig he'd picked up earlier. "Mind telling me what you were up to just now?" Vivian slightly wrinkled her forehead, "Nothing big, just trying to spook someone. The lady you saw on the ground is my archenemy."
