BUMBLE BEE . George . I took a big risk to take four days off at once by combining two weekly offs. I was hoping for things in the hotel to go well because it is a pre-opening hotel and not dealing with customers in real time. But being on the call where the vendor is complaining to me about things not falling right for him with the Food and Beverage Manager, he might not be able to deliver the menus on time. The management team were well aware that I would not be available to sort things for them for just four days, and yet the F&B Manager isn’t acting right. Why would he not pay an advance to him when he knows, that’s exactly how things work. Threatening the vendor for demanding an advance payment from having his contract cancelled from the other hotel he does business with in which the F&B Manager has a friend in the management team was definitely very wrong of him.
