TURNED THE TABLES
I am having a very lazy morning but still have to prepare breakfast and do the household chores. A trip feels bad when the clothes have to be unpacked and laundered. Suddenly, everything becomes a lot. Even though George and I were out only for three days, the set of clothes we changed during the day which we had worn different times depending on the occasion is making it look as if we were on a week-long vacation.
I take care of all the necessary things to kick-start the day well, and when I finally sit down to have a second round of my morning tea, the real alarm rings as Mabel is crying for her to be fed. I go to the bedroom to take care of my baby and find George wide awake with my phone in his hand. I would usually not give a damn about it, but I haven’t been the good girl George talks about and wants me to be.
