Chapter 163

Switching off the lights in the house after Gordon is tucked up in bed, George and I get to our bedroom. I put Mabel in her crib as she went to sleep while watching the stars in the sky. Before I sit on the bed, George holds my hand and pulls me out to the living room, and before I can say anything to him, he pushes me softly to make me get on the couch. “What are you doing?” I ask, but he doesn’t say anything to me, and neither does he switch on the tube light. So, I sit on the couch trying to figure out what he is doing. He picks up a big glass candle which was lying on top of the TV cabinet and lights it with his lighter that was in his pocket. It feels pretty to see my handsome husband in its light as he walks up to me and pulls me one more time. But this time he is walking us to the kitchen, and then he opens the door that leads to the backyard. I do not understand why we are going outside. He told me he wanted to fuck, and that is why we had come inside and put the kids to sleep.
