Chapter 14

Edith I did not know his promise to stay away from me was not after I left his house but from the very next day. It has been ten days since the incident happened and I did not see him from then. We were literally two people living under the same roof but actually only one because when I stayed in the house, he wasn't present. I did not know where he lodged for there had been several nights passed since then. When I call him, he doesn't pick my calls. Getting frustrated one day I called him through my friend's phone. He picked and when I wanted to speak to him he simply avoided me stating he was busy. With the days passing I am getting frustrated living in this house alone.
