ALEXIS'S POV
"Well, I think you can leave me now. As much as I like your warm embrace, I still need to breathe properly," I said after a few minutes, and as if he was in some kind of trance, he pushed me away like it wasn't him who was hugging me but the other way around, making me roll my eyes at his shyness.
"I am sorry about that," He said awkwardly, and I couldn't help but smile at him.
He looked too cute to have stayed angry at.
"By the way, what work were you exactly here for? I am sure you are not just on vacation with your men looking like a mafia boss," I asked before turning my head to look at him when he didn't say anything.
"You can choose to not reply if it makes you uncomfortable," I added when I saw his troubled face as if he was contemplating whether to tell me or not.
"Ahh… It's actually. I had asked some of the rogues on my team to search for a thing. However, they did a lousy job and did something I can't forgive. So I am going there to teach them a lesson. Like not
