ALEXIS'S POV "Are you sure I can go further up?" I asked Mark, who was leaning on a tree while looking at his phone. "Sure, you can go up. Don't worry. The forests are protected by the witches, no one can come here by using a witch spell," Mark said and I nodded my head before starting to climb up. After talking to uncle Zach and having more than half of my mood spoiled because he doesn't know much about my past, I was pretty much annoyed, and that’s why I decided it was better to connect with the forests and calm my nerves. Even Sebastian couldn't say more than be safe as an alpha called him for the meeting, and it made my mood worse than before. Honestly, I feel like everything has been turning against me lately.
