Ella sighed, sitting down heavily. "I know. Our reputation has taken a hit, and it's going to take time and effort to rebuild trust with our customers."
"Not to mention the stress it's put on our relationship," Lucas added softly. "We've been arguing more, constantly on edge."
Ella nodded sadly. "You're right. It's been affecting every aspect of our lives."
They sat in silence for a moment, each lost in thought.
"Maybe there's a middle ground," Ella suggested finally. "What if we let Lydia stay, but with very clear, non-negotiable conditions?"
