"Listen to this," Ella said, her voice hushed with emotion. "'Thomas Everett, age 27, passed away in his sleep on June 15, 1910. He never married and lived a life of quiet philanthropy, dedicating himself to causes that helped young women in need. He was found in his study, clutching a photograph of his long-lost love, Isabella Blackwood.'"
Lucas let out a long breath. "He never got over her."
