“You!” Ruby yelled, and her wolf growled as Hestia crouched beside her between cars. Her chest rose and fell as if she had run a marathon, and her eyes moved from Ruby guiltily to behind her—as if checking for someone. “What do you think you are doing, Hestia?” Ruby asked, shifting away, not liking being so close to the woman.
