The threat was enough to make him hesitate as his chest rose and fell in anguish. Ruby heaved—the urge to protect Noah and his people enveloped her. Her eyes remained trained on George, daring him to make one more move to hurt her mate. "Ruby, what are you doing here?" she heard Noah say, but she didn't look back at him. She could sense his exhaustion—but Ruby felt his wolf growling loudly in his mind, wanting to tear more of Redmoon's warriors. They were definitely taken off-guard by the attack, but she wouldn't let Noah or anyone else be hurt. Ruby knew she had to try to defend the people who were fighting for her at all costs. She felt something cover her, and it was then she remembered she was naked after shifting back to human form. But her nudity was the least of her concerns as her eyes moved from George's bloody hand and back to his face. "Ruby," She heard Aiden bellow, making the rage inside her churn. Ruby figured he had spotted her stop his goon from somewhere while he al
