CHAPTER FIFTY-SIX
Ruby followed at a safe distance behind Jericho, leaving Isaac in the open hall. They walked further through the halls, and the further they went, the darker it became.
Fear sent a shiver down Ruby's spine. Her wolf sat on its hind legs on high alert, memorizing the turns they took in case she needed to make a run for it. She couldn't help the negative feelings that crawled up her spine. She soon regretted convincing Isaac to stay behind.
"How far are we going?" Ruby asked, not being able to take the silent walk anymore.
"We are here, Ruby," Jericho answered as he opened another door.
She watched him stand to the side, ushering her in. The room was large, and it seemed…outdoor. There was a round skylight at the center of the roof, brightly illuminating the room. From a large window, she could see the back end of the training court.
