CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO
Noah growled as he seized back control from his wolf. The urge to wrap his hand around Victor’s throat was becoming too much to ignore. His obscene, disgusting comment echoed in his mind as he sucked in a long breath—an attempt to quench the fiery fury brewing inside him. He could feel his wolf snarl in his mind as it paced back and forth.
“Who do you propose I mate with then?”
Victor, whose face was slightly bowed, looked up at the question. Noah could sense fear from him, but it was well hidden behind tenacity.
“My daughter Hestia would be a fine pick.”
Murmurs erupted in the room. Everyone listened with interest—well, more like mortification. Noah scoffed at the absurdity of his suggestion. He could feel the heat from Linda’s and Isaac’s glare, but Victor remained unfazed.
