Chapter 7 Mouth Was Opened At The Sight
"Come on, Isa. There has to be someone here who fits your standards," Zira said, looking around at all the partygoers. "Or you could just tell your mother you already-"
"No," Isabella yelled at her as we all stared at her sudden outburst. Then, finally, she collected herself and cleared her throat. "I mean, it's not like she listens to anything I say anyway."
We all stood in silence for a minute. I could see Zira staring at the people on the dance floor. I watched her glance around until her eyes connected with mine. I wanted to look away so she couldn't tell I was staring at her, but I couldn't. She quickly looked away, which I probably deserved from earlier.
"Well, excuse Isaiah and demon spawn," Hunter said, glaring at Isabella, who returned a glare of her own. Hunter held out his hand to Zira.
"Zira, would you like to dance," Hunter asked her.
What the hell does he think he's doing," I wondered, looking at his outstretched hand. I never wanted to bite off a hand so much in my life
