Chapter 21
The policeman's merciless command felt like a knife stabbing through Hannah's heart. She stomped her foot and shot back in fury, "Fine! I'll leave! You happy now?"
She called a moving company to transport her belongings, but as she had nowhere to go, the driver of the truck got a bit impatient. He kept asking her for an address.
After a while, she reluctantly gave him one. "Take me to Spring Garden."
She had no choice but to call up her old landlord and discuss resuming the rental agreement. Thankfully, it had only been a few days, and the landlord hadn't rented the place out yet.
