Chapter Fifty One- Empty Roads

It was a bust. Mia and Lorenzo were nowhere near better off than when they first came here. “What do you want then?” It was a simple and straightforward question. Mary wanted some sort of leverage to tie the luck over in her favor. The couple was stuck as it was. Considering that Mary was a sniveling conniving shell of a woman, they had no idea what direction to take in such an issue. Mary raised her eyebrow and let out a candid laugh. “I’m not going to give that information up so easily, now am I?” Lorenzo had to work hard to swallow his anger. The woman was purposely acting up and making their life hell. He already had had enough and wanted to take Mia to where they were staying. His wife was already tired from a long day of traveling and Mary was merely adding to it. “We can do this the hard way. Do you know that?
