Chapter One Hundred and One- Shutter

Alexander didn’t say anything.  Not for a long while. The man had pretended as if none of the three people even existed on the face of the Earth. Mary would barge past the man on a daily basis. She wouldn’t acknowledge him and Alexander wouldn’t bat an eyelid at her either. Andrew would merely stare his father down. That’s what he would do every time the man’s father would cross his path. Half of it was an intimidation tactic. A means of causing the man to back down from his own son. It sent a streak of bitter satisfaction coursing through him every time. At the same time, Andrew would hope to see a flicker of something else. Maybe acceptance for what has come about. That hadn’t occurred for the past few days now.
