Nearly three years had passed, and the changes in Andver City were subtle. The airport had added two new terminals, and as soon as Savannah stepped out, she found herself a bit lost.
Dragging two suitcases through the crowd, she hurriedly searched for the exit.
The surrounding noise was deafening, with a sea of people bustling around, but Wyatt paid no attention to any of it. In his eyes, there was only Savannah.
Everything around him seemed to fade into silence. He could even hear his own breathing slow.
He had longed for her through countless sleepless nights, and now, here she was, right in front of him. It felt surreal.
Wyatt didn't hesitate. Driven by instinct, he moved toward Savannah with urgency but also caution. Her familiar scent mingled with his body’s warmth as he gently wrapped his arms around her.
His hand shook slightly and hovered near her. He was afraid that touching her would make her vanish into thin air.
