CHAPTER 89: WHAT ARE THE ODDS?
"You look worried. Is there something terribly wrong?"
George stared blankly at his assistant, then slowly shook his head and sighed.
"How was the meeting?"
Arthur pulled out a jotter and passed it to him.
"I think we are on our way to securing a partnership with them."
"Great," George said, tossing the book aside without even glancing at it.
"Sir, are you quite certain everything is alright?"
Another sigh, and he motioned for Arthur to sit down.
"I had a strange dream last night."
"And what made this dream strange?"
"My ex-wife was in it."
"Oh,"
George noticed the worried look on his face and quickly rushed to explain that he wasn't going crazy.
"Remember the boat accident I got into years ago?"
Arthur nodded.
"You also know I went missing for almost a week; they couldn't find me."
"Yes sir, but…"
"Someone saved me that day." George interrupted. "I never saw the person's face…or maybe I just couldn't remember the face. Until last night."
