CHAPTER 492: MORAL DILEMMA
"There's someone running towards us!" Max said in a hushed whisper.
"I hear it too! Who?" George asked.
"I don't know and we aren't going to stay to find out, let's go!" Max said and increased his pace.
"Wait!" George said and held him back. "It could be someone who could help us."
"Or it could be one of his guards." Max said, pulling away from George's grip.
George looked back. "Max."
"Come on George, this person could be leading Alexander's men towards us. We have to go." Max said.
"Help! Please! Is someone there?!" The man yelled, his voice faint and weary.
George picked up another pipe from the floor. "We need to speak to the person; we can't leave them behind."
"Oh, for the love of God!" Max sighed and picked up a different pipe. "If we get caught and killed, I swear George, I'll kill you."
George chuckled. "We would already be dead." He turned back in the direction of the man, and he was getting closer.
"Is someone there?!" He yelled.
"Who are you?!" George replied.
