CHAPTER 47: OFFICE POLITICS
Dalia felt really mad as she stood outside Lauretta's office. She couldn't get in because she didn't have the right papers. She worked hard for years, thinking she'd become the VP. But then Lauretta came along and took the job, and Dalia couldn't believe it. She thought Lauretta was sneaky and tricky, like someone who smiles but doesn't mean it. Noticing Juliana's departure, Dalia hurried after her, determined to have her voice heard. "Juliana, I need to speak with you urgently," she insisted, her tone betraying her impatience.
