CHAPTER 383: A HUE OF GRAY
Ashley stood face-to-face with her husband. The husband she had convinced George and Carol was dead.
"What are you doing here? Get out!" she spat without waiting for him to answer.
Silas moved closer, ignoring her words and the harsh way they were said.
"I heard what happened," he started, but she shook her head and put a distance between them by stepping back.
"I don't care, Silas," she whispered anxiously. "I need you to leave this house and never return."
He looked at her almost like he felt sorry for her but still didn't make a move to leave.
"I haven't heard good things about you and the kids, Ash."
She shut her eyes and took a deep breath.
"I'm not in the mood for all this. You need to leave now, or I'm calling the police."
"No," Silas shook his head. "Not until we talk about everything that's been happening."
Ashley covered the distance between them and shoved roughly on his chest.
"Get out! We don't need you here!" she gritted out furiously.
He didn't budge from her
