CHAPTER 363: A BLAST FROM THE PAST
Immediately after closing the door behind Benjamin, she returned straight to work.
The night had proven to be far more eventful than she thought, and suddenly, she wasn't procrastinating anymore.
Benjamin was holding back, but not for long.
Carol pulled the laptop towards her and quickly noticed the new email message.
She gingerly clicked on it just as her stomach growled furiously.
"Food first, work later. “She muttered, then stood up, momentarily pushing the message aside.
She looked forward to the next day for the first time in two months.
After fixing a plate of noodles, the only thing left in her house, she plopped back into the seat and faced her laptop again.
She forked up some of her food as her eyes scanned the messages.
"We have something you'd keep a secret, and we'd be happy to keep that secret…for a price."
