"I don't think it's her" Lauretta paced the kitchen deep in thought, her hand on her chin, like an ageing professor. "Katarina has always looked down on me. As bad as this is for her, there's no way she would expose this herself. If my identity got out, the public outrage towards her would be even worse." She locked gazes with Julianna before adding," I honestly don't think she's that stupid."
Now, Lauretta was the biggest victim. As soon as her identity was exposed, there would be indiscriminate attacks on George and Katarina online.
Especially Katarina. She would likely get the worst of it as people hated homewreckers and pretentious sluts. Women would rip her apart into a million pieces online, and their wives' opinions would probably influence men.
