Let's hurry back home; it's getting really cold," Sonia, who had worn a coat for style, was now feeling the chill and suggested they leave. The others agreed, feeling the cold, too. They were about to ask Lauretta if she wanted to walk together when they noticed a familiar car approaching. It stopped in front of them, and Ryan stepped out. It had been a while since they last saw Ryan, and they wondered what he had been up to lately. They exchanged glances with Lauretta, understanding that Ryan had something to discuss with her. Lauretta had her thoughts to share with Ryan, too. "You guys go ahead; Ryan and I have something to talk about," Lauretta said, making the others realize they should leave.
