"Don't worry about her, let's just get going," Lauretta said with a wave of her hand, clearly not thrilled that Dalia had not come along. Dalia's presence felt like a burden Lauretta wouldn't mind getting rid of if Dalia messed up, even better. It'd be the perfect excuse to cut ties, stopping any potential issues before they started. Juliana, always loyal, just nodded in agreement. They left quickly, hopping into the waiting car with a shared purpose. They were off to the tech company. As they pulled into the sleek parking lot of the company, Lauretta couldn't help but notice the lively atmosphere coming from the building itself. Frederick's company was doing well. Word had it that Frederick himself was going to greet them at the door – a sign of Lauretta's influence, maybe. Moments later, the front doors slid open, revealing a smiling Frederick. "Lauretta! Juliana! So happy you could make it," he said warmly. "Welcome!" With a grand gesture, he indicated the impressive building beh
