Nicole's gaze darkened as Griffin studied her intently. He seemed like he wanted to say more, but he held back. As he looked at the woman before him, the words seemingly trapped in his throat.
Griffin's gaze lingered on Nicole, sweeping over her figure before he finally let out a soft chuckle, though his eyes still hinted at much left unsaid.
"If you're thirsty, you should still be careful. It's dark here, and you didn't turn on any lights. We wouldn't want you to fall and hurt yourself," Griffin said with a smile.
Then, he gently put his arm around Nicole, his eyes never leaving her. She glanced around the unfamiliar surroundings, feeling uneasy but managing a faint acknowledgment. After a moment, she watched as Griffin poured her a glass of water. His movements were gentle, but his gaze made her uneasy.
