After taking a couple of steps forward, Jacob realized that Nicole wasn't following behind him. He turned around, curled his lips upward into a helpless smile, and gestured to her to join him. "Let's go. Didn't you say that you wanted to go home?" After snapping back to her senses, Nicole hummed a response. Then, she went after him, and they left together.
