"There's no need for that. It's just a slight concussion. I know how to handle it myself." Nicole got off the bed and put on her shoes before leaving.
"Ma'am! You can't leave. We have rules saying that—" The nurse immediately went after her.
"I came here with the man from the sixth floor. I'll return after I make sure he's alright. You can follow me if you're worried."
The VIP wards had their designated nurses. The staff from the lower floors couldn't enter the upper floors without permission.
The nurse had no choice but to concede. "Then, be careful, ma'am. If you feel unwell, I hope you'll come back in time for treatment.
Nicole hummed in agreement.
After taking the elevator up to the sixth floor, she ran into two bodyguards dressed in suits stationed beside the elevator.
The bodyguards recognized her, so they didn't stop her.
She smoothly found her way to the VIP ward. She reached out for the door handle but suddenly lost the strength to open the door.
Her grip loosened.
