Chapter 2

Next morning cindy woke up early to get ready for her new job, because it her first time and wants to be punctual and dress very well for her work. She took a cab and told him where he will take her. After a 30 minuite drive she arrive at her destination. I went straight to the house and press a door bell and it opened I saw a lady by the door and exchange greetings, the lady was so open and friendly she's also working at Morgan's mansion she introduced herself and let me in. I was taken straight to another part of the house, i was taken to see the mrs of the house. I greeted her and she was very nice too. She told me how the work is, and gave me some instructions on how the work is. I was given two uniforms that i will be wearing everyday for work. Wow can't wait to wear it a sky blue coloured and white with a cap. I was shown to my room where i will be staying but i told them that i won't be staying once am done with work i will go home. Mrs Elizabeth the mrs of the house told me that it will be better to stay became some work might reach 10pm in the night only Saturdays and sunday is a free day for me. I told her am okay with that. I quickly change into my uniform and started the work as instructed. As it is am not the only lady working at the Morgan's mansion there are some other 2 ladies. My work is to tidy up the garden spray some water on the flowers and mop all the rooms and make the bed. The lady i met earlier at the door Angela was the one to sweep everywhere in the house while am to clean all the house. The other lady magarette is to do the laundry and cooking. I started my work for the day and in time i was done may be because it my first day that's why am so exhausted. I called mary to know how she's doing at her own side and she told me she was fine. I took a glance at my wrist watch and it 9'oclock in the evening. The only work left for me now is to clean the kitchen. when magarette is done cooking. I set an alarm for 30 minutes and took a nap. Later My alarm woke me up and i quickly went to the kitchen and saw magarette..... "oh cindy i was about to tell you that am done you can do your work" "Alright" I quicky clean and tidy up the place. I went straight to the door to press a bitton on a table beside the door to sign in for todays work i mistakenly bump into the arrogant guy i met yesterday....."Oh am sorry sir i didn't know you will open the door am... he cutt me off. "You're lucky am in a good mood today if not i would have teach you a lesson cos no one bumps into me and go freely, ask the other workers at this house they will tell you i dont take a shit from no body" "I'm sorry sir it won't ever happen again" I quickly sign and went out of the mansion. It was already 10:30, i hope i get a cab soon, but unluckily I couldn't get any and it getting dark the street is dark and no cars are passing by. "I need to hire a cab driver and pay him monthly or may be i will just buy a scooter myself so that i will be using it to come to work it even better" I saw a cab from a far and I quickly stopped him and told him where am heading to. After some couple of minuites i arrived home safely, i rang the door bell and i saw my mom at the door she was mad at me at the same time worried. "Why didn't you tell me the actual time you're closing, can you see the time you're coming back? It past 11, i didn't disagree on this job it's a good job but can't you at least settle the time on this job or find another job you won't close late" "Mom am sorry i know am at fault I couldn't tell you what time I only got to know it today" "But still you would've call and tell me at least I won't be worried. do you know how worried I am. Since your Dad left us you've been taking a lot of jobs going up and down, i know life is too harsh on us but let take it easy my baby" "Alright Mom. There's something i want to tell you" "We can do that tomorrow, go get some sleep it Late" I went straight to my room looking so tired i couldn't shower before sleeping I would do that tomorrow " I woke up to the sound of my Alarm, I felt like i haven't slept enough. I got up and took a bath, dress up, after putting on makeup I went to make my self a fast and easy breakfast. I saw my Mum coming out of her room and told her what mrs Elizabeth said about the Job and my mom told me to be staying there and be coming home for weekends it better than coming back home late everyday. I agreed with her and said okay From today I won't be coming home till Saturdays. I went back to my room and pack some cloth that will be enough for me to wear for this week. I met Emma at the door seems like she's coming back from a Jogging. That girl is too fat she need to lose some weight, unlike me am slim and tall, Emma is short like my mom. I quickly took a cab and went to the Morgan's mansion. I took a glance at my watch and it exactly 8:am. As I got inside I sign in as usual, and went straight to Mrs Elizabeth and told her that I have decided to be staying here while I will still be going home on Saturday's. She said she's glad I changed my mind and that's even better.
