Chapter 60
Some people drove away from the chaos, while others ran. The military trucks hauled some of the civilians to safety. There were also people escaping with children in their arms.
A woman ran over from a distance, carrying a boy around seven years old. She had lost one of her shoes, and her hair was a mess.
The pelmeni store had closed its doors, but that woman ran over and banged on the doors. She screamed in tears, "Let me in! Let me in! Please!"
The owner hurriedly opened the doors and let the woman take shelter.
Right after she entered the store, she warned, "Draw the curtains and stay away from the windows!"
"What's wrong?" someone asked. "What's going on?"
"Yeah. What's happening out there?"
Elara noticed the blood on that woman. The commotion in the store ballooned.
"Wait. Is it a psychopath who wants revenge on society?"
"Is there a terrorist attack?"
A man clutched his phone and said in a shaky voice, "Take a look right now! Look at this!"
