Chapter 100

Abel almost cried to finally see a normal person. Feeling choked, he walked toward the man by the aquarium and asked in a trembling voice, "Hello. May I know where this is? I don't know why all my companions have disappeared." The blond-haired young man was looking intently at the fish tank and did not answer. "What are you looking at?" Abel asked curiously. The man's side profile was illuminated by the fish tank, and Abel could see his pale eyelashes. They were long, delicate, and slightly curled, as dreamy as butterfly wings. He stared unblinkingly into the fish tank, as if he were frozen in time. Abel lowered his head and discovered that the fish tank did not contain fish but contained a sandbox model like those used in real estate. However, the sandbox model was of a scene on a street instead of a building. There was a sticky substance all over the inside of the fish tank, making it look quite dirty. Tiny, strangely shaped black dots crawled slowly about the slimy fish tank.
