"Really?" I pressed him. "What's Idris up to this time?"
He looked genuinely puzzled, as if my words were some kind of riddle. "Ms. Scott, I'm not quite following you."
"Ensio, cut the act. I know Idris couldn't have just died like that. There's got to be a plan, right?" I was practically begging him with my eyes, desperate for him to confirm my hopes.
