Chapter 526 Actually, It’s Not Bad, Being Like This
I was taken aback for a moment. I was not surprised that Lucas had followed us out of curiosity, but the fact that he was willingly going into an unknown cave to rescue a child with whom he had no connection was truly unexpected.
As I hesitated, he had already taken off his coat and started climbing toward the cave entrance. The entrance was quite small, and even though he had a tall and slender figure, he was still a man with broad shoulders, so entering the cave was challenging. It was pitch dark inside, with his entrance blocking all light and making it completely dark within.
I could not help but feel a little worried, and my nerves were on edge as I waited outside. Fortunately, he got into the hole smoothly.
