CHAPTER NINE: DISCUSSING DIVORCE
Axel glanced at her, then looked at her plate, "Didn't expect you to eat so much, usually."
Sarah widened her eyes, "Boss, don't you think people should eat a little more? The strawberry cake here is really good, I recommend you try it."
Axel smirked and said nothing more.
Although Axel's mood was worsened by the strange-tasting hangover soup from last night, he had to admit he wasn't planning to fire Sarah for now.
One of the things Axel appreciated most about Sarah was that she knew when to play dumb and never argued about meaningless matters.
After Brandon sat down next to Sarah, Axel finally spoke, "Sarah, book a flight to City A for tomorrow morning at 8 am. Remember, don't be late."
Sarah replied briefly, "Got it."
The three of them ate their lunch silently. After a while, Axel received another message from his lawyer.
Lawyer: Sir, should I keep trying to contact your wife tonight?
Axel: Of course, she needs to know I'm divorcing her.
Lawyer: Understood.
