CHAPTER FIFTY EIGHT: SHOCKED

Sarah's heart skipped a beat as she locked eyes with Grandma Wilson, her grandmother's lifelong friend and, apparently, Axel's grandmother. Everything fell into place in that moment, and the realization hit her like a ton of bricks. Axel was her husband—the same husband she had never met, the one she was marrying, and the one she was divorcing. Her mind raced as she tried to process the whirlwind of emotions crashing over her. How could this be happening? How could she have unknowingly married her boss—the man she barely knew and had never even met before their impromptu marriage ceremony? Axel sensed Sarah's distress and reached out to gently squeeze her hand, his eyes filled with concern. "Are you okay?" he whispered, his voice barely audible over the sound of her racing thoughts. Sarah tore her gaze away from Grandma Wilson, her mind reeling with shock and disbelief. "I... I don't understand," she stammered, her voice trembling with emotion. "How... how is Grandma Wilson your gra
