CHAPTER THIRTY FIVE: CONCERT

When Lily left, Brandon looked at Axel, who was standing in the shadows. This woman was always so worrisome, which made Axel feel a little annoyed. He had originally planned to go back and visit his grandmother tonight, but unexpectedly, he saw Lily helping Sarah, who was obviously intoxicated, out of a restaurant. Axel didn't want to intervene initially, but soon he noticed two suspicious men also leaving the restaurant and seemingly following Sarah and Lily. Sensing something was off, he quickly instructed the driver to turn the car around. Perhaps it was his imagination, but Axel couldn't shake the feeling that he knew those two suspicious strangers.
