We scheduled Theo's nuptials and apologised for the large garden behind our main house, which inevitably meant the whole place would be teeming with activities for most of the day. This also meant I could come along as a guest without getting any strange stares from any member of the pack. Meredith had left before sunrise, so I just prepared and left with the hopes that she would show up at the venue much later.
“Do…Elliot!” Minerva called out as she rushed towards me, her hands spreading out to hug me.
"Not too much now," I whispered into her hair. "We don't want to get any curious stares."
She nodded and pulled back. "Gaius just left," she started, her words rushing out in hushed whispers. "He didn't tell me where he was going, but I followed his awful scent, and he's in the woods!"
"So, do we follow him?" I whispered back, and her head bobbed up and down anxiously.
"It'll be better to do whatever we have to do there, where no one else might stumble into us."
